The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction – 2 Sources are duly credited in the text and more diverse than the gender ratio: A single story is credited to a woman, Zenna Henderson, although the story credited to Kuttner alone is said by the ISFDB to have been by Moore and Kuttner. 1957, which as it happens was somewhat of a turning point in American history. Also missing is any hint as to the year for which this is the best. In fact, I have for reasons of clarity taken liberties with the title because, as discerning readers will have noticed, the paperback in hand does not mention that this is the third anthology in this series. You may note that Merril was not entirely consistent with her naming conventions.
